Ruth Haag met Nancy Caplan in 1985 when both had been relocated to Findlay, Ohio by their husband's jobs.  When Nancy and her husband moved to North Carolina a few years later, Ruth and Nancy kept their friendship strong by writing weekly letters. Nancy ended all of her letters with "Hope all is well there, Love Nancy."  Ruth and Nancy helped each other through the trials of raising children, the problems of illnesses and the ethics of day-to-day living.  Then one day, after a few weeks of no letters, Ruth received one that said "It has been a strange couple of weeks, I found a lump in my breast just before T'giving." Here to share with you, are the letters that Nancy wrote to Ruth over the next four years. You will feel as if Nancy is your friend, too.
